Full course description
This 2-hour, online asynchronous CE course is intended for practitioners who have started engaging in myopia management. It is presented in a rapid fire grand rounds format that cover multiple scenarios in which myopia and myopia progression may present. The course will:
- Discuss management options available to a pre-myope and a newly diagnosed myopic patient, and the evidence to support each of the available treatment options
- Discuss the role of myopia management in pediatric patients that are outside of “school-age myopia” and review genetic and ocular conditions that predispose pediatric patients toward myopia
- Discuss how to interpret changes in refractive and axial length data in patients undergoing active myopia control treatment; and
- Discuss the role of myopia management in progressive adult myopia and review the current evidence.
Per COPE requirements, you must pass a 20-question post-course test in order to receive the full 2 hours of CE credit for this course (10 questions per every CE hour). Partial completion of a COPE course does not qualify for COPE credit, and you cannot earn a certificate unless you complete the full 2-hour requirements.
