Program Description

Sunday, October 2, 2022

Join us for the Sheldon M. Golden Conference. Earn 6 COPE-accredited CE hours via live lectures on Zoom Webinar. Our Golden Conference CE lectures are focused on Traumatic Brain Injury.

It is widely recognized that mild traumatic brain injury causes oculomotor and visual-perceptual deficits. It also exacerbates underlying visual dysfunction in a majority of sufferers. Optometrists are well-positioned to help these patients resolve their symptoms and visual deficits by facilitating return to work, school, and play.

Our expert panel of speakers will provide you with practical assessment and therapeutic tools, including prescribing considerations, to enhance your care of this important population and how recent research has shaped clinical practice. The TBI toolset shares a common set of principles with the treatment of developmental vision problems as well as sports vision and cognitive training.
